On December 20, 2019, Sichuan LIANMIER Home Furnishing Co., Ltd. and EXCITECH CNC announced in a celebration ceremony the launch of their Industry 4.0 Smart Cloud Factory.
Without this new production plant, raised labor costs, long delivery times, unstable quality, and insufficient capacity of flexible production were obstacles slow down LIANMIER’s growth, like most other furniture manufacturers.
The transformation point of custom furniture industry appears together with the slowdown of economic growth. However, for custom furniture companies, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times", when enterprises in furniture industry eliminate the factors that hinder the development using automation, AI, or revolutionary improvement, they will be able to rise up against the trend.
