In the field of edge banding, evolution today presents the hot air system, to glue the edge banding to the wooden panel, without adhesives, without joining lines and without residual ends.
The process involves a compressor that encapsulates the air, which is heated and fired at high speed, which again creates a jet that comes out of a special nozzle, aimed at a hot melt, designed especially for these processes.
The edge is composed of two layers: a decorative and a functional one with polymer that, upon receiving the hot air, and by pressure, melts with the substrate and is welded, an action that results in a perfect union, free of joints and residuals.
